Donor Recognition Opportunities
Thank you to our generous donors!
The College recognizes the generous support of alumni, parents, and friends who contribute at leadership levels. We thank you for your support—whether you’re making your first annual gift, establishing a scholarship, or naming PC as a beneficiary in your will. Phoenix College would not be the incredible place it is without your generosity. It is you who makes the difference, ensuring our students to Go Far, Close to Home.

Donor Wall Protocol
Eligibility for inclusion on the donor wall, to be dedicated January 24, 2013 at Phoenix College is based on the following criteria:
- A minimum, cumulative cash contribution of $5,000 is required for inclusion on the static, panel-mounted portion of the donor wall. Many gifts below the $5,000 level but starting at or above $1,000, and gifts eligible for recognition based on other criteria may be listed on the interactive video monitor that also is part of the donor wall installation.
Donor eligibility for the November 19th dedication was based on a record of all gifts received as of July 1, 1972. New donors will be added to the donor wall annually, after the close of the College's fiscal year, each June 30th.
Non-cash gifts are eligible for donor wall recognition only if they were sold and converted to cash. (Gifts of supplies, equipment, software, etc., held for use by the District or its Colleges, are sincerely appreciated but not recognized here.)
Future gifts pledged in a will, trust, insurance beneficiary designation, or made in the form of active charitable gift annuities, charitable unitrusts, etc., will not qualify until their charitable component has been realized. (Such commitments, when made irrevocably, are eligible for recognition on the Heritage Society wall in the lobby of the District Support Services building, however.)
In most cases, eligibility is restricted to donations by a single individual or corporate entity. Under limited circumstances as determined by the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation, gifts made by several individuals or by related corporate entities may be combined for recognition purposes. Funds and endowments will be listed only when established and named by an individual or family with a gift or gifts to that fund or endowment from that individual or family at a level sufficient for inclusion on the wall.
