Home of the 2015 Region I Division II Baseball Finalists!

2016 PC Bears' Baseball Team Photo

The Phoenix College baseball program has a storied history. The Bears have won numerous ACCAC and Region titles. Under NJCAA Hall of Fame coach Martin “Pug” Marich, the Bears were crowned national champions in 1962 and 1965. The Bears also won a national championship in 1960.

After a storybook 2015 season that saw the Bears come within one game of a Region I Division II title and a trip to nationals, Bears' Head Baseball Coach Kevin Kimball and his staff have the 2016 team poised to go at least one step further this year.  Kimball heads into his 5th season with a very deep and talented squad.  The baseball team is also excelling in the classroom as evidenced by the fact the team was named to the NJCAA Academic All-American List for the 4th time in the last five years in the summer of 2015.

Bears baseball will continue to thrive both on and off the field by:

  • Dedication in the classroom.
  • Outworking our opponents on the baseball diamond and in the weight room.
  • Getting our student-athletes moved on to the next level.

To be eligible, contact Bears' Head Baseball Coach Kevin Kimball to get your name on the list.  Either email ( or phone ((602) 285-7293) as soon as possible.
