Web Tip: Make Your Fillable PDF Forms Saveable by End Users
Have you created a fillable PDF form for uploading to the website or sharing by email, but you wished that end users could save the form after they have filled it out?
This feature is actually possible, but is not enabled by default when you create a fillable PDF. First, you must have Adobe Acrobat Pro to create a fillable PDF, and you also must enable extended rights in order to let Adobe Reader users save their form data.
Following are instructions for how to enable this feature:
- With your PDF file open in Adobe Acrobat Pro, go to:
- File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features…
