Web Tip: Add Social Media Icons to Your Program or Department Homepage
Easily add social media icons with hyperlinks to your department or program homepage.
To do this, you will need to be a web editor for your department, and should have received training for administering your web pages.
Once you have logged in, visit your department home page, then click the "Edit" button at the top of the page, beneath the department banner.
Next, scroll down the page until you see the word "Connect", and some input fields called Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
Copy and paste or type the complete URL for the Facebook page into the Facebook field, or for any other other social media that is listed.
When done, go to the top or the bottom of the page and click on "Save".
Your changes will appear on the page after you save, and will be visible to the world shortly.
