Coach’s Quote:

Matt Gordon:  “Our team is so good that they just keep the same level-headedness-whether they’re up or down.  We made some threes in the first half and then got complacent.  In the second half, we were much better.  Brandon Brown penetrated the gaps and made a huge difference, Brendon Pineda-Morales became more aggressive in the late part of the second half, and while it was a bit of a gamble to put Derreck Brooks back into the game with 8 minutes left-since that’s a little early for a guy with four fouls-I’m glad we did because he bailed us out offensively.”

PHX’s Next Game:

Men:                    vs. Central CC-Columbus (NE) Friday 6PM (AZ time)

(NJCAA Division II Tournament Semifinals-Danville, IL)
