Overview

The Phoenix College (PC) Culinary Café is a hidden gem located just minutes from the Uptown Phoenix Central Corridor. Conveniently located on the corner of Osborn and 11th Avenue, you will find the Café nestled in the south end of the PC Osborn Site. 

Experience fine dining in an elegant yet casual atmosphere where aspiring chefs perfect their skills in a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art teaching kitchen and dining room. Gourmet lunches are prepared and served by Phoenix College Culinary students.

  • The Café is open Tues, Wed, Thurs, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM during the Spring and Fall Semesters and closed during the Summer. Last seating is at 12:45 PM. 
  • Reservations are required: 602-285-7764. Please call ahead for take-out.
  • Park in the Osborn lot (11th Ave & Osborn), or in the north lot of the main campus where you can walk across Flower and 11th and into the Café.

Menu

Café patrons can select from a three-course menu or choose from a list of appealing a la carte specials. The menu changes weekly and is set at the beginning of each semesterDownload the menu by semester or check the calendar for a weekly update. $10.25 (First Course, Entree, Dessert)

First Course Examples
  • Strawberry and Baby Spinach Salad (young spinach, strawberries, and spiced walnuts dressed with a raspberry vinaigretteor)
  • Vegetable Tortilla Soup (Spicy tomato and vegetable broth served with crispy tortilla strips)
Entree Examples
  • Herb Crusted Prime Rib (Boneless prime rib au jus, served with a parsnip au gratin and a creamy horseradish sauce)
  • Grilled Ginger Lime Sea Bass (Fresh sea bass seasoned with giner and lime, grilled and served over a bed of coconut lemongrass rice)
Dessert Examples

  • Lemon Curd Tartlet (a rich lemon curd nestled in a sweet and flaky crust, garnished with whipped cream)
  • Red Velvet Gateaux (Rich and decadent red velvet cake layered with a cream cheese and mascarpone mousse)
