Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment at Phoenix College partners with Valley high schools to offer dual enrollment credit for academic and occupational classes. Dual enrollment courses are held on high school campuses and are taught by high school instructors who have met community college hiring qualifications. Through dual enrollment we strive to ease the transition from high school to college and to increase the number of college-bound high school in our community.

Dual enrollment courses focus on skills application, allowing for more flexible curriculum which may include labs, computer applications and field trips. Students receive a grade and credit for the work performed throughout the school year.

Register for Classes

See which courses are available at your high school. Print and complete a Dual Enrollment Registration Form and submit to Phoenix College. Pay Tuition

Tuition for in-state residents at the Maricopa Community College is $85 per credit hour plus a $15 registration fee per semester, per college. Many high school districts pay a portion of this tuition for in-state students, making dual enrollment even more affordable for students. Check with your high school about dual enrollment rates. Dual enrollment grants are also available for qualified students.
