Online Orientation

All students enrolled in the following courses for credit must complete the online orientation: PED115PED116PED117PED101FLPED101GF, and PED101WT (this does not apply to non-credit students)

Fitness Center/Group Fitness/Weight Training:

Step 1.Login to Canvas using your MEID and password. (If you do not know your Canvas login click on Getting Started under the Canvas heading on the right side of the screen and follow the instructions.)

Step 2. Click on the course link for your PED section number (located under My Courses) and complete the following:

  1. Print and review the syllabus carefully; you will refer to it while you take the online quiz.
  2. Complete the online syllabus quiz (located in the Syllabus folder of the course directory).
    A grade of 100% is required to begin using the Fitness Center and attending Group Fitness classes. (The quiz can be taken multiple times until passed.)
  3. Once the quiz is completed click  OK to review your results. Once you have passed the quiz print your quiz results using the print command within the web browser.
  4. Click on  the link for the Health Status Questionnaire (HSQ). You will need Adobe Reader to view and fill in the form. Complete the form by typing in your responses and print the HSQ to bring with you to the in-person orientation.

Step 3. In-person orientation and blood pressure check

  • PC Cub Card ID 
  • Class Schedule 
  • Syllabus
