Getting an early start on your college education can definitely pay off later on, and we’re here to help you get that early start. In fact, studies show that students experience greater academic success in college when they complete dual enrollment courses in high school.
When you take dual enrollment classes, you’ll be earning high school and college credits at the same time. Plus, you’ll gain the experience of being a college student.Phoenix College partners with Valley high schools to offer dual enrollment credit for academic and occupational classes. The courses are taught on high school campuses by college-approved high school teachers and can be counted toward high school graduation requirements.

Registration Steps

FIRST TIME STUDENTS OR RETURNING STUDENTS ADDING A COLLEGE
- Create student account or verify current information
- Select a college
- Submit proof of identification
- When you finish your application, you will receive:
- MEID
- Student ID Number
- Maricopa Email
Step 2 – Determine Placement
Our colleges utilize multiple options to determine course placement for students
Juniors and Seniors – High school transcripts, ACT, SAT, or PSAT scores
Sophomores – EdReady Placement Test

Step 3 – Dual Enrollment Application
Students must select Phoenix College as their college for Dual Enrollment
• Students must meet course prerequisites
• Apply by January 28, 2022
Step 4 – Pay Tuition
Deadline: February 7, 2022. Tuition assistance is available from the Maricopa Grant for those who qualify.

RETURNING STUDENTS
Step 1 – Determine Placement

Step 3 - All Continuing Students Must Self Register
You will need:
- MEID
- Password
- Class Section (Refer to School class list below)
- Click Student Center to process Self Registration
Step 4 – Maricopa Opportunity Grant
Apply by January 28, 2022
• Qualifying students will be awarded on a first come first serve basis until funds are depleted
Step 5 – Pay Tuition
