PC's Student Life & Leadership, and the MEChA club, have customarily celebrated Día de los Muertos with a showcase of ofrendas. Ofrendas are personalized altars that memorialize the deceased. They're artfully decorated, displaying mementos, as well as the favorite objects and foods, of those we've lost.
While the pandemic has prevented us from holding an in-person event, we're carrying on the tradition with a Virtual Community Altar. Observances associated with Día de los Muertos vary regionally, and by family, within Mexico. In this spirit, we ask that your post reflects the kindness and humor that made this person unique and special.
