Phoenix College offers a variety of Education courses, including preparation for those dealing with special needs children, teaching methodologies for secondary education, and curriculum development.
Students who would like to pursue a four-year degree in Education can enroll in general studies and fulfill lower division education requirements at Phoenix College.

In this program you can earn the following:
Associate in Arts in Elementary Education (AAEE)
The AAEE is designed for the student who plans to transfer to an Elementary Education program at an Arizona public higher education institution and/or who plans to become a clssroom instructional aide. The degree transfers as a block without loss of credit to Arizona's public universities. All semester credits applied to the MCCD Associate in Arts in Elementary Education also apply to graduation requirements of the university major for which the AAEE was designed. Note: Some courses require field experience.
