Health Care Core

Students wishing to enroll in any Health Care Program should see a Health Care Advisor in the Advisement Center prior to enrolling in any HCC (Health Care Core) course. The HCC classes are prerequisites or corequisites to the following programs:(please check with Advisement)

  • Medical Billing
  • Medical Coding
  • Phlebotomy
  • Therapeutic Massage
  • Laboratory Assisting
  • Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Histology Technician

We offer face-to-face and online classes for HCC courses.  Information on how to access all courses on the internet is found in the catalog. In addition, self-help information packets are available for students to pickup in the Enrollment Center, Computer Commons and the Fannin Library.
