Student Union

The Phoenix College Student Union, more commonly known as the Bear's Den, is a welcoming spot to hang out, study, chat with friends, watch TV, or play games.

Take a seat at one of the computers that line the wall to focus on school work. Stop by the front desk and pick up a console game or air hockey puck and head to the game room. Or grab coffee or tea at the Bear's Brew Coffee Bar. It’s located on the west end of the building, right off Sophomore Square.

The north side of the building features floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks the patio. The patio is often used by clubs for social events and barbecues. And if you’re lucky, you might catch some music students during one of their jam sessions.

College departments, spaces, and offices located in the Student Union building include:

  • Bear's Brew Coffee Bar
  • Student Game Room*
  • PC United Student Government Office
  • Student Life & Leadership Offices
  • Student Union Conference Rooms 117 A & B
  • Early Outreach Office
    • Achieving a College Education (ACE)
    • Hoop of Learning

Note: The Coffee Bar is closed during the Summer.

*A current student ID is required to check out game room equipment such as controllers or hockey pucks. Game consoles include: Xbox, Wii, and PlayStation 3. Table games include air hockey, foosball, and ping-pong. Players/participants must follow the game room rules or privileges may be suspended.
