At New Student and Family Orientation, you’ll: 

  • Learn about resources and strategies for success

  • Connect with your Field of Interest Faculty, Academic Advisors, and other new PC students

  • Get your first free college t-shirt!

  • Explore ways to get involved in student life, clubs, and leadership opportunities

Please note: New Student and Family Orientation is not a course registration event.
If you still need to register for classes, please attend a Bear Tracks Embark session — our advising and registration experience designed to help new students get enrolled and ready for success.

👨‍👩‍👧Families and guests are welcome!
We’ll host a special Champions Session (offered in both English and Spanish) for parents, partners, and supporters who want to learn how to help their student succeed at PC.

Each Orientation session will last approximately three hours, and is divided into several segments.  Details follow.

CHECK-IN

Please plan to allow enough travel time to arrive on campus and check in at the Hannelly Center (HC). Check-in typically takes about 20 minutes.

  • Thursday, August 20th:  4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
  • Saturday, August 22nd:  8:00 am - 8:45 am

Please be seated inside Bulpitt Auditorium, by the following times:

  • Thursday, August 21:  4:50 pm
  • Saturday, August 23:  8:50 am

Phoenix College is located at 1202 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013.
The nearest major cross streets are Thomas Road and 15th Avenue. Free parking is available in the West and North Lots.
