Why Phoenix College?

Phoenix College’s English curriculum covers everything from written communication to language acquisition, literature, and the humanities. PC offers first-year composition courses where students may focus on the writing process at a college level and master the art of persuasive and research-based writing.

While our English courses do not lead to any particular degree at Phoenix College, these classes often fulfill the general education requirements needed for a certificate or associate's degree. PC also offers courses for developmental English, English as a second language, and creative writing.
