Phoenix College's Health Sciences Lab Programs:
Responding to Increased Demand for Grads
Healthcare workers are in record demand, here in Phoenix, and across the U.S. While the staffing shortage faced by frontline medical responders is well documented, the need for trained professionals in other essential aspects of patient care has received less attention. Medical lab professionals, the people who collect, test, and help diagnose illness, are working around the clock to expedite our recovery from the pandemic.
If you’ve always had a knack for science, and enjoy the problem-solving process, Phoenix College can help you develop your interests into employer-ready skills. Whether you're considering a career change, or are investigating the science of healthcare for the first time, PC's programs in Medical Laboratory Science, Histologic Science, and Phlebotomy can help you move forward.
