Phoenix College’s reading curriculum goes beyond cracking open a good book. PC offers classes in developmental reading to reading English as a second language, and on to university transfer courses like critical and evaluative reading.

While our reading classes do not lead to any specific degree, they do enhance a student’s comprehension abilities, academic reading skills, and critical thinking levels. PC also offers a reading lab where a skilled instructor is available for any questions or assistance.

Next Steps

Discuss your course load with an academic advisor inside the Hannelly Enrollment Center (HC) at our historic, centrally located campus. Future students may contact the program director, Dianne Miller, for more information.
