Don't miss CUREs in HSIs 2022: Expanding Experiential Learning & Diversity in STEM

Phoenix College welcomes in-person and virtual registrants

for two days of workshops designed to build educational

and professional equity in the STEM fields:

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

CUREs in HSIs 2022:

Expanding Experiential Learning &

Diversity in STEM

Who Should Attend

Are you an educator, administrator, or educational researcher, affiliated with a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Community College or University?

Whether you're new to CURE implementation, or are already well-versed on the subject, join us for a NSF-sponsored conference that will explore how Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs), collaboration among institutions, and other partnerships, can increase diversity in STEM fields.

The conference focuses on solutions for the southwestern U.S., but all are welcome to attend in person, at Phoenix College; or virtually.

Benefits of Joining

CUREs are widely recognized for engaging students in research projects, as they develop degree-specific interest in STEM, through coursework. CUREs also foster inquiry and critical thinking skills among students.

The conference will capture your interest through a series of workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities.
