The week of November 18 - 22 is known as "International Education Week." The goal of the initiative is to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. International Education Week is a joint effort between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.

At Phoenix College, it’s seen as another way to promote programs that prepare students for a global environment and to study, learn and exchange experiences with one another. The Phoenix College student body is truly diverse, with more than 50 languages being spoken on any given day.

There are a plethora of engaging, highly visual events taking place on campus throughout the week including an international book display inside the library.
