Handmade Ornaments

Every year the Arizona Burn Foundation kicks off the holiday season with their signature gala, Festival of Trees. The gala raises funds to support their programs and services. This year, the Phoenix College Interior Design Club was selected to create a tree titled: "If You Give a Bear a Cookie," to be auctioned at the 2020 Arizona Burn Foundation's holiday gala. The tree that the PC Interior Design Club created was decorated with sweet, gingerbread cookie ornaments. Each cookie ornament was handcrafted and decorated by club members: Anna Bice (Chair), Carmen Mendoza, Nancy Roach, and Cory Golab (Program Coordinator).

The Arizona Burn Foundation fulfills its mission of improving the quality of life of burn survivors and their families while promoting Arizona's burn prevention education. Their programs build self-esteem, promote personal development, and provide services for burn survivors from crisis to a successful recovery.
