Fall 2023: Two bachelor's degree programs are slotted to begin at Phoenix College

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has approved accreditation for the Maricopa County Community Colleges (MCCCD) to offer seven bachelor’s degree programs.

The decision has been pivotal for MCCCD, which is journeying to become the first community college district to offer bachelor’s degrees in Arizona. Next steps include receiving approval for Federal Financial Aid funding, as well as establishing course tuition rates and fee schedules before this coming March, when Fall 2023 course registration begins.

Phoenix College (PC) is scheduled to launch two bachelor's degree programs, in Information Technology and Public Safety Administration next fall.
