Awardees of the Diane H. Thomas Scholarship for Phoenix College Graduates receive $10,000 to attend a four-year college, or university. Applications must be received by April 21, 2024.

Scholarship Criteria
To qualify, students must:
- Graduate from Phoenix College in May 2024
- Have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrate financial need, by providing details in the application
- Be preparing to transfer to a four-year college or university, during the Fall 2024 semester
About Diane Thomas
During her long and distinguished career, Ms. Thomas worked as a commercial photographer, television personality, small business owner, arbiter for the Better Business Bureau, author, freelance writer, photojournalist and college instructor.
She authored and published nearly a dozen books and wrote many more articles which appeared in publications ranging from The New York Times, McCall's and Better Homes & Gardens to Real West and Old Cars magazines. Her legacy includes endowed scholarships at Phoenix College and Glendale Community College.
