What is STEAM?
Does it Differ from STEM?
You've probably heard of STEM and STEAM approaches to learning. Each movement focuses on problem solving gleaned from cross-disciplinary knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. What separates them?
STEAM education is intended to enhance STEM—by integrating Arts Training into this framework. The goal is to strengthen students' abilities to creatively solve real-world problems. As industry becomes increasingly automated, the added "A" will help them remain dexterous in the evolving workplace.
