Engineering

Everywhere you look, engineering and technology have impacted how we live and breathe in this world — we wouldn't be where we are today without engineers creating, building, and innovating. In educating the next generation of engineers, this program teaches the engineering essentials of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) — the cornerstones of a good engineer. Students will also develop strong analytic and critical thinking skills that will not only aid them in identifying, assessing, and solving complex problems but will be vital in handling conversations and interacting with colleagues on all levels in an organization.

Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.

Why Phoenix College?

Phoenix College’s Engineering program offers courses that range from problem-solving and design to mechanics, dynamics, and plane surveying. Our engineering courses offer everything students need to come out the other side of graduation as an architectural, civil, or aerospace engineer.

While our Engineering program does not lead to any specific degree, most of PC’s engineering courses meet specific program and graduation requirements. Completion of our engineering courses can lead to graduate school and work at a university, government agency, or in the fields of aerospace and architecture.
