Grants Development

This division of the Office of Academic Affairs advances and maintains grants development at Phoenix College in order to support the building of institutional capacity by pursuing and securing public and private funds; devising funding strategies that align with and support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the College; supporting student success, retention, persistence, and completion, and advancing teaching and learning.

Service, Partnership and Technical Support

Grants development staff support campus grantsmanship with the following functions:

• Prospecting: proactive identification of potential funding opportunities and resources that support projects and plans aligned with the institution's mission, vision, and strategic plan.
• Development: completion of research, as appropriate, to evaluate possible funding opportunities for viability and appropriateness.
• Technical support: consultation with and assistance to faculty and staff and their respective departments and services to identify and apply for grant opportunities that are in support of student success and institutional priorities; as well as support on the implementation of grant awards.
