Cost of Attendance

To be in compliance with the Department of Homeland Security and SEVIS regulations, all international applicants on a F-1 student visa must provide evidence of sufficient funds available for their studies. The exact cost changes slightly from year to year due to changes in tuition costs. The following is an estimate of what the total costs of attending PC for a school year as an international student.

International Students must keep in mind the following:

  • Have a minimum of $20,350 in U.S. currency per year.
  • If the student will be bringing any dependents the costs will rise (an approximate of $5,000 for the first dependent and $2,500 for each extra dependent). 
  • Complete the Affidavit of Support form and obtain signatures as needed.
  • Provide an original letter on official bank letterhead showing that the student has sufficient funds to cover educational expenses The letter must be translated into English. All reported monies must be verified in US dollars.

Please note: evidence of sufficient funds to cover the above costs is required to be admitted at PC.

Most of the costs will go towards tuition. These costs reflect the normal load of 24 credits per school year (12 per semester) that international students are required to take. The regular academic school year lasts a total of 10 months, so this estimate does not include summer which is optional.

Payment of Tuition

Keep in mind that classes need to be paid by the due date. PC offers several payment methods for tuition:

  • A student can pay online using debit or credit cards.
  • They can pay in person at the Cashier's Office in the Hannelly Building.
  • Student can set up a payment plan
