Service learning and volunteer opportunities help students’ career development journey. We encourage you to connect with students to make volunteer work and service learning a component of their career exploration and skill development.

  • Help students learn how to work with people from many backgrounds and experiences
  • Students gain a deeper understanding of how certain organizations and companies impact their community
  • Allow students to grow as leaders and to be put into a variety of situations that enhance analytical thinking

Career Services | Community PartnersBecome a Career Mentor

You can make a positive impact on a student’s life by becoming a mentor. Career Mentors sign up with the PC Alumni Association (PCAA) under their career description. Students considering a major or career can then contact PCAA or Career Services to be matched with a mentor.

  • Engage and give back to the Phoenix College community
  • Help students navigate the nuances of “professionalism”
  • Access to a support system during critical stages of college and career development
