Exhibition Proposals

Call for Artists: Exhibition Proposals

We welcome submissions from professional artists working in all mediums. Please review our guidelines below before submitting your proposal.

Key Dates & Eligibility

  • Submission Window: February 15 – March 31. (Late or incomplete submissions are not accepted).
  • Exhibition Timing: Selected shows run during the following academic year (starting as early as September).
  • Student Policy: Currently enrolled students are ineligible, with the exception of those actively enrolled in an MFA program.

Artwork Requirements

  • Originality: All artwork must be 100% original, created without instructor supervision, and fully owned by the artist. Copyright infringement will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
  • Content Guidelines: We do not accept art that features violence, hate speech, pornography, or offensive content. If you believe a submitted piece may be perceived as controversial, please include an explanation in your Portfolio description for the jury to review.
  • Review Process: Please note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee an exhibition. All jury decisions are final.

Logistics & Responsibilities

If selected, artists are entirely responsible for:

  • Shipping: Arranging and covering all costs for the transit of their artwork to and from the gallery.
  • Installation: The physical setup and breakdown of their exhibition.

*** Plan ahead! We schedule the full academic year in late spring, and exhibitions can begin as early as September. Please be ready for a potential September slot when you apply.

Submission Requirements

Submit exhibition proposals via email to Tiffany Bailey, [email protected], and include “Fischl gallery proposal” in the subject line. Proposals must contain the following:
