Campus Procedures and Forms
APPROVAL
Several bulletin boards are available on campus for the posting of flyers and advertisements. All items must be approved and stamped in the Office of Student Life & Leadership, or they will be removed.
ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES
Student Life & Leadership staff will post the materials on designated boards for a period of up to 30 days. Below are guidelines for the number of copies we will accept for these purposes:

VENDORS
Commercial vendors must book their visits to Phoenix College with Student Life and Leadership. Visits are booked on the basis of availability as determined by PC Facilities and the Offices of Student Life & Leadership. There is a cost associated with visiting campus in a commercial capacity. If you would like to reserve a table, please reach out to Student Life and Leadership ([email protected]) to complete the vendor registration form.
Expressive Activity (aka Petition Signatures, Voter Registration and Public Speech/Expression)
MCCCD has a long history of supporting expressive activities that are conducted on campuses. For the purposes of avoiding disruption or interference with its educational activities, while protecting the rights of the members of the campus community and their invited guests to express themselves and access information, this Administrative Regulation governs the Public Access and Expression on District Property [Free Expression Policy] MCCCD AR 6.24
Requests to Attend Class to Register Students to Vote
Faculty may decide who is an appropriate guest to invite into their classrooms, weighing whether the request fits within the parameters of their course and does not create a disruptive influence on the educational environment.
Voter Registration Outside the Classroom
Registering voters is a protected expressive activity and should be allowed without further need to process or manage the activity unless the person or entity is requesting reserved space or equipment (such as a table) or is actually presenting a substantial disruption.
Petitions/Signature Gathering
Gathering signatures is a protected expressive activity and should be allowed without further need to process or manage the activity unless the person or entity is requesting reserved space or equipment (such as a table) or is actually presenting a substantial disruption.
NOTES
Table & Chairs: One table and two chairs may be provided to each solicitor. Note that availability of college-provided table and chairs may vary by location/scheduled events.
Banners & Signage
Solicitors may place banners or signs on the table to encourage interest. Banners and signs may not be adhered to any surface.
