Instructor Exams

Phoenix College Instructor Exams

Gather the information below to schedule an appointment. 

  • MEID (ten characters, it starts with letters & ends with numbers)
  • Student ID Number (eight digits, begins with a 3)
  • Daytime phone number
  • Instructor's full name
  • Class name (ex. PSY101)
  • Exam name (Exam 1, Vocabulary Test, etc.)
  • Length of exam (15 minutes, three hours, etc.)
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. If you are more than five minutes late, you may be required to reschedule your appointment.

Student Policies and Procedures:

Scheduling Your Exam Appointment

  • Appointments are limited, so please schedule your exam as early as possible.
  • You must schedule a separate appointment for each exam.

DUO Login

  • Please bring the device you use for DUO, such as your phone, tablet, or security key, to your exam. You will need it to log in and verify your identity.

If the Available Testing Times Do Not Work

  • If you cannot take your exam on any of the available dates or times, please contact your instructor to discuss other options.

Appointment Confirmation

  • A response or appointment confirmation will be sent to your MCCCD student email within 2 business days.
  • You do not have a confirmed appointment until you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a response within 2 business days, please email Testing Services. Include your name and student ID number so we can look into your request.

Student Email

  • For security reasons, all messages from Testing Services will be sent to your MCCCD student email. Please check that account regularly.

Calculators

  • Testing Services does not provide calculators. If your exam allows a calculator, you must bring your own approved calculator. You may not use the calculator app on your phone during the exam.

Requirements

  • A valid photo ID and a digital or printed copy of your appointment confirmation are required for all testing services.
  • Please bring the device you use for DUO, such as your phone, tablet, or security key, to your exam. You will need it to log in and verify your identity.
  • The last name on your photo ID must match the name on your instructor's roster. Please contact Admissions to process name changes before arriving at Testing Services.
  • All personal items must be stored in the Testing Services lockers while you are completing your exam. Electronic devices (phone, computer, etc.) must be turned off and stored during your exam.
  • No food or beverages are allowed in the testing room. Restroom breaks are not allowed.

Additional Information

  • If you have a question about your exam deadline, or what materials are allowed, please contact your instructor prior to your appointment. All exams will be collected 15 minutes prior to closing, so please schedule your appointment accordingly.
  • Exams are administered according to your instructor’s directions. To ensure exam integrity, any change in exam directions must be submitted online by your instructor to Testing Services. We are unable to accept verbal or written changes delivered by the student.
  • Testing Services is unable to accept or collect homework or other assignments. Please contact your instructor for additional instructions.
